DJI ENTERPRISE Zenmuse S1

The DJI Zenmuse S1 is DJI’s first high-powered spotlight designed for multi-payload drone platforms, compatible with the Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK. Utilizing advanced Laser Excited Phosphor (LEP) technology, the S1 delivers up to 10,000 lumens of brightness, with a central illuminance of 35 lux at 100 meters. This powerful beam extends visibility up to 500 meters (1,640 ft), ensuring clear visual support in complete darkness. Zenmuse S1 is an indispensable payload for nighttime operations such as public safety missions, emergency search and rescue, infrastructure inspections, and other critical tasks after dark.

Multiple Lighting Modes for Any Scenario

The Zenmuse S1 offers four selectable lighting modes to adapt to different mission needs:

• Low Beam: Broad 15° beam reaching approx. 150 m (492 ft), providing wide, evenly-distributed illumination. Low Beam is ideal for close-range lighting and serves as a fill light matching the field of view of a zoom camera at 5× and above.

• High Beam: Narrow 4° spotlight reaching up to 300 m (984 ft) for long-distance targeting. High Beam concentrates light in a tight area (around the FOV of a camera at ~15× zoom), suitable for focused observation while maintaining low power consumption.
• Both On: Low and High beams activated together for maximum intensity and range. In this mode, the S1 can illuminate targets up to 500 m (1,640 ft) away while still covering a broad area for enhanced situational awareness.

• Strobe: Flashing light at 5 Hz for signaling and hazard awareness. Strobe mode can be used to draw attention or serve as an aerial warning light during emergency operations or low-visibility conditions.

Brightness Meets Energy Efficiency

Delivering a peak central illuminance of 35 lux at 100 m, the Zenmuse S1 turns night into day without draining your batteries. In High Beam mode it draws just 17 W, keeping the payload’s power demand low and helping your Matrice maintain valuable flight time.

Reliability & Safety, Built‑In

• Comprehensive Payload Protection: On‑board temperature, over‑current, and power safeguards defend internal components and extend service life.

• Cool‑to‑touch shell — The plastic housing is engineered so external surfaces never exceed 50 °C / 122 °F, virtually eliminating burn risk during or after operation.

• Automatic eye protection — Whenever the aircraft is on the ground or hovering idle, the S1 automatically limits output to 40 % of maximum brightness to prevent glare for pilots and ground crews.

One‑Touch Control via Remote Shortcuts

Engineered for the Elements
